Meet Dalvir Singh

Driven by a belief that everyone deserves to feel stronger, healthier and more confident, Dalvir founded Optima Performance & Health to deliver real sustainable change. His leadership combines expertise, care and a genuine commitment to helping individuals thrive. Dalvir's mission is to empower you to create sustainable change and the approach at Optima Performance & Health is designed to meet you exactly where you are.
Dalvir Singh founded Optima Performance & Health with a clear and deeply personal mission: to change the way health is understood and supported within communities.
Growing up Dalvir a member of the South Asian ethnic community experienced many of the health challenges that are increasingly common yet often inadequately addressed. Struggling with weight management and high cholesterol from a young age, he saw how lifestyle-related conditions were frequently treated with medication alone rather than through meaningful and preventative support.
The turning point came when his grandmother was admitted to hospital. Witnessing the lack of holistic care, personalised guidance and cultural understanding left a lasting impact. It became clear that too often systems focus on prescribing medication to manage symptoms, while underlying issues such as low energy, poor mood, uncontrolled hunger, stress and anxiety remain unaddressed.
Determined to create a better model of care, Dalvir established Optima Performance & Health to help individuals take control of their health in a sustainable and empowering way. Optima Performance & Health is built around the Four Pillars of Health: Sleep, Nutrition, Exercise, and Wellbeing. Rather than masking symptoms the focus is on identifying and addressing root causes, supporting long-term change and giving every individual the best possible chance at a healthier future.
Under Dalvir’s leadership, Optima Performance & Health is committed to delivering culturally aware, evidence-based and compassionate support, ensuring that health is not just treated but truly optimised.

Throughout his career, he has coached more than 5,000 individuals helping rebuild confidence, take ownership of their wellbeing and create meaningful lasting change. His approach rejects quick fixes and extreme methods. Instead, it is rooted in long-term thinking, realistic strategies and consistent support.
A First-Class Sport and Exercise Science graduate, Dalvir combines scientific knowledge with real-world coaching experience. He specialises in weight management, physical activity, nutrition and behaviour change delivering evidence-based personalised programmes built around real life, not perfection.
Alongside his Health Coaching, Dalvir has spent many years undertaking community work within his local areas, for instance through MLSS, a multi-award-winning multicultural non-profit organisation. His involvement reflects his belief that health and wellbeing should be accessible, inclusive and community driven and not limited to those in traditional fitness spaces. Supporting individuals at a grassroots level has further shaped his compassionate people-first approach.
What truly sets Dalvir apart is his ability to blend science with empathy. He understands that lasting transformation doesn’t come from rigid plans or short bursts of motivation. It comes from clarity, accountability and the right support at the right time.
